MONTCLAIR KAPPA LEAGUERS RECEIVE $12,000 in Scholarships at 8th Annual Signing Day!

 

On June 8, 2025, the Montclair (NJ) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. hosted its annual Barry Harmon Sr. Montclair Kappa League banquet and signing day. As parents and Brothers gathered at McLoone’s Boathouse in West Orange, the Kappa Leaguers expressed their journey and experience with the Montclair Kappa League.

 

The banquet is named after Barry Harmon Sr., who was a chartering member of the Montclair (NJ) Alumni Chapter. The Brothers have always honored our late Brother by inviting and presenting flowers to his lovely wife Diana.  Unfortunately, Silhouette Diana Harmon passed away in 2023. MAC dedicated the 2024 and 2025 Kappa League Signing Day in her memory. Silhouette Diana Harmon’s spirit and support was phenomenal and will always be remembered. For 2025, MAC Kappa League presented flowers of appreciation to Mrs. Jamie Bragg for all of her behind the scenes support for the Program.

 

Congratulations to the five, high school graduate Kappa Leaguers and their parents. This was a great day for MAC as we awarded a total of $12,000 in college scholarships. The parents were thankful and appreciative.

 

Thanks to Guide Right Director – Brother Curtis Palmore and Kappa League Director – Brother Donald Davis for their direct leadership and involvement in Guide Right / Kappa League.
